When I don't make a smoothie for breakfast, this is my backup plan. It's amazingly easy and incredibly delicious. The trick to this is to make it the night before. If you forget, microwave the blueberries for about 30 seconds to a minute to thaw them and get the juices flowing.
175g Plain Greek Yogurt (apx 3/4 cup) - I use either Liberte 2% or Kirkland Greek Yogurt
140g Frozen Blueberries (apx 3/4 cup) *
10g Hemp Hearts (apx 1tbsp)
18g Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal (apx 1/4 cup) **
*I use frozen because the juices mix with the yogurt better and give a great flavour. They're also usually cheaper than fresh. You can absolutely use fresh if you prefer.
** This cereal is high in protein and has a great cinnamony sweet flavour with a granola texture but without all the fat that usually comes with granola.
